IO691 Pin Mapping — Reference information about
the I/O module connector
I/O Pin Mapping for CAN:
For proper operation, a CAN topology requires electrical termination in the form
of resistors.
The IO691 I/O module is delivered with the termination resistors disabled. The
termination resistors can be enabled by request at the time of order.
Channel Location
The chassis of the target machine has two DB9 connectors labelled 'A' and 'B'. In
this documentation, channels 1 and 2 are used to differentiate between the available
channels. The mapping of the channels to the connectors is shown in the following
table.
