IO602-2 Pin Mapping — Reference information about
the I/O module connector
I/O Pin Mapping for CAN:
For proper operation, a CAN topology requires electrical termination in the form
of resistors.
The IO602-2 I/O module is delivered with the termination resistors disabled. The
termination resistors can be enabled by request at the time of order.
Channel Location
The front plate of the I/O module has two DB9 connectors labelled 'CAN0' and
'CAN1'. In this documentation, channels 1 and 2 are used to differentiate between
the available channels. The mapping of the channels to the connectors is shown in
the following table.
