Introduction
Speedgoat provide a comprehensive range of fault insertion I/O modules. These
modules are specifically designed for safety critical applications, often in
aerospace or automotive industries, where the behavior of a control system in
response to unusual sensor conditions must be fully evaluated. Typically they would
be used in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing to apply sensor conditions which could
occur because of corrosion, short/open circuits and other electrical failures
inherited through age, damage or faulty installation. The modules greatly simplify
and accelerate this type of testing.
